White 82-84 TA clean
89 or 90 RS black conv. missing its rear spoiler and dirty
85 or 86 Z/28 White with red stripes but with 82 nose dirty beater car
84 Berlinetta black and clean...nice car
88 sport coupe medium orange beater car
88 sport coupe lt blue beater car
85-87 sport coupe white been sitting outside repair shop for 2 years looks nice on the outside
89-90 lt blue RS some surface rust sitting outside
87 IROC White sitting outside with lf fender dents
82 sport coupe dark brown sitting outside nose piece dented sitting outside

 

ahhh I might have to add to this a few times...

I know a blue 86 that hasnt been running in 9 months...haha

Couple red ones mostly IROCs

A convertible my color running around

A couple black camaros

A silver camaro one with 20 inch irocs on it

A blue camaros with white rallye stripes all the way down on the bumper

A yellow 85 t top 5 speed camaro...

I saw a 91-92 RS today that was a custom purple color...looked nice and clean and the talights were darkened except for the middle section and thats all the light you could see. Looked nice.

 

Ive been seeing more and more thirdgens too...I think they see my badass car running around and want in on the action haha

 

I see a lot of people rocking the whole "ratted out thirdgen" look and mad ******* me

Don't really care about them and they don't really care about their car so why post here???

 

Saw a very clean red 91-92 Firebird today. Couldnt hear if it had a 6 or an 8. As for people not caring about their cars, its nice for us knowing whats out there, for possible restorations.

 

A black camaro drove by my house a few minutes ago while I was outisde. it looked like it had trans am wheels on it....weird!

With what, 1.3 million thirdgens made I'm not going to track every single one down in my hometown..

 

You know what just do it and like it alright?! haha. jk its by choice ya know. I need to get some cards from Del this saturday so I can hand them out when they talk to me (sometimes they do)

 

Please do. I am a thirdgen snob though it seems. I'll only drop a card on a car, or to folks if it appears they take care of the car. To some folks they are just transportation, so I don't take the gamble on anyone. I don't drive my third gen around town daily, so nobody would come up to me in my 4th gen. Otherwise I would of course since I keep some in the car.

Kinda echo'n Vins sentiments. I don't really get the point of these types of threads. I have seen "spotted" threads elsewhere, but unless you engaged with them, who cares if a beat up third gen is spotted abandoned in a back alley?

 

So we will try to only talk about cars we actually talked about with. With the owners and if we feel they have some actual "love" for the car then we'll spot em on here and ill give them a card!

 

The 4th gen boards have a similar "spotted" topic which I posted in last week.

I always see this beautiful lady in a late 4th gen, red Firehawk, driving around Sac. Never going in the same direction. Wooo I'd like to give her my card!

Saw a white w/primered Firebird today driving through town. Had a little surface rust on top. Also theres a blue 87-88 IROC parked in someones driveway that looks really nice.

 

Yes I just went and looked at an 87 IROC-z 305 h.o. stickers on it. fuel injection door handles. Its blue tinted windows with t tops and white rallye stripes from the front ground effects all the way down the back. pretty clean car. No price on it so I called. 5k is what the guy is asking. Says its 305 tpi. automatic.

 

I've gotten approached by owners lately. Most of them have already been thirdgen.org members. I told them to stop lurking and start posting! I did give out a few cards too. One Guy wanted to go to our June gtg but he is heading out of town on the night before. Haha

 

I hear you on that. I pm'ed a guy on here from stockton,(he just joined) he has a really nice '89 v-6, I gave him an invite, introduced myself and all, but have not seen him post up in the Nor-cal section (yet). I'm hit and miss on my posting(late a day or two *LOL*)
