Boring forum...

........Geez, it's been pretty lame on here lately. Is anyone getting anything "really" done?

Copchaser, did you narrow the rear end for those killer wheels?

Traviz seems to be the only one that has really done some transformation this year, besides me.

Re: Boring forum...

I got my car running again this last weekend from my head gasket issue. Sounds and revs just fine. No test drive yet. Still need to tidy up a few things like running the wire for my knock sensor and mounting that methanol pump. That will be a fun thing to test! btw, does anyone know where to buy the purest form of methanol?
I also need to finish sanding my hood and getting it repainted since i did not like the way it came out the first time.

Re: Boring forum...

Pfft Travizzzzzz ain't the only one transformin' around here!!!

Just the other day my Camaro made this weird noise and started walking around and shooting plasma.

I told him to shut up he's getting to be too much of a Hollywood movie star but he only speaks in "Radio". Go figure. GM Monsoon decks aren't exactly known to be the "pinnacle" of audio.

Re: Boring forum...

And I now have a power hatch release that I didn't have yesterday so yes, people are really getting things done! Plus I removed some of the interior of the '86 TA parts car I bought for the disc/posi rear end and I'll be listing them as soon as I learn how to add pics. That way someone can buy my stuff and then they can really get something done too! Not every step is a giant leap.

Dont do it copchaser! Nothing but problems with the Opti Sparks in the LT1's. They make really good power but the reliability is def an issue. If you do decide to go LT1 let me know I have a bunch of go fast parts for it.

Re: Boring forum...

I haven't been on the boards much lately. Been swamped with work, life (i.e. kids), and working on my Masters Degree. It is so much more work than a Bachelors. I have been chasing an issue with my car that has stumped me. If I idle for more than a few minutes, the car will start to idle very rough and then the check engine light comes on. I'm trying to convince my wife to allow me to drive up to see you Marc to see if you could find the issue. The schedule isn't allowing me to do so in the near future right now.
