I had fun at the cruise. Ha ha next time I hope there are less cops. Those roads were great to drive on. They had a lot of winding sections with good banked curves.

HAHA John got you pulled over? Typical John! haha...
It was a pleasure to meet all the new people. And if the cruise keeps growing like it has from last year. Man that'll be some excitement and it will be tough to fit the cars in the spots! haha. Fun stuff deffinately! I think the official count was 35 cars

Home safe and sound. A fun day and great to meet everyone and put real names and faces to avatars! A real big hand to Will for organizing it all. And as a nice bonus, thanks to Southbay fuel injectors and Seafoam, instead of the 225 miles I used to get from a tank of gas I'm at 300 miles with a few gallons to go!Originally Posted by UnderCover89TBI
Hope everyone made it home safely. I had a freaking blast as usual. And that burger parking lot deffinately would not have sufficed and that place was delicious! Quote:

Im just being a smart *** with that last comment.
Did you hear me yell your name from the restaurant burger?
I thought I heard something.... But wasn't sure.. I was too focused on finding a Chevron. How long were u guys there?

actually they knock the food out real quick there. I guess we were there for about 30 mins maybe. Then we stopped and gassed up. Then we split up at the 580/680 interchange.
Oh ok.. I did the same route, actually ran home thru Stockton

John, Thanks, it was nice to hang out with you and your wife and thanks for helping with the top. We went back on hwy 17 and 280 with it down. We got up near the 92 and James started screaming because he got cold so we pulled off and put the top back. Originally Posted by Copchaser

Hey guys, it was great meeting everyone! Thanks to Will for setting this up, and Casey for taking pictures! It was amazing to look back in my rear view mirror and see 30+ beautiful thirdgens! Next time, we definitely need to kick back and have a nice BBQ!
Supreme Member
Yeah I think now that we know how that place is. and that we can actually reserve something. We can set up a more organized BBQ pot luck thing. Although I enjoyed the restaurant burger. immensely.

I agree that a potluck would be cool, but with that many people, it's tough. Plus, we weren't there but for an hour or two before participants started to head out. I spoke with the ranger and he gave me an alternate contact number for the park, to make a reservation for a special event. I had emailed and called but never heard back, so if we want to use this location next year, we should all be able to park in a single row.
Supreme Member
Yeah I have no problem with that as the finish point. Very little through town driving. Seemed alright to me. And know we know what to expect so ppl can bring food, ocean blankets, etc.

So who drove the furthest?? I know my total roundtrip mileage was right at 400 miles. I was also happy to have gotten 22.6mpg on the return trip back home!!

Those are some amazing pictures! Did you use a photo editor or were some of those shots done within the camera's software? Originally Posted by ares88iroc

Mr.IROC-Z your car was very nice. I have to ask what did you do to get those wide tires to fit in the back? Did you roll the fenders and open up the wheel house?
What kind of suspension are you running on your car?

I'm sure the gauges are messed up too lol but the other day It was idling with zero oil pressure & it started to shake & my temp was on the red so I look under the hood & there's coolant all over the damn place. It all leaked out I guess my water pump cracked or something??Originally Posted by Copchaser
u sure its not a gauge problem??? Member
Nice pictures btw. Kinda want a bird now haha
Supreme Member
deffinately gotta fix your coolant problem. water pumps cracking does not happen very often. radiators cracking is common. but you'd have to check it out.

This was a great event. One of my favorite moments was when we all pulled in to the gas station where the Porsche club was at. All of our cars ran them out of there, ha ha that was great!
