ESTES RUN
Thanks everybody for coming.
It was great. We drove about 250 miles (brandon and shawn a bit more). We flew around corners and had a blast.
Defenetly the best run soo far.
We took a lot of pictures and Tim will have 'em up soon.
Woooh wooooh.

BTW, that place where we turned around at the end of our blast through town has an arcade, a huge slide, and (best of all!) a pretty decent go-kart track... Anyone up for "MHTG go-kart championship" racing sometime in the future??
It was really cool that the weather cooperated with us too, just a bit of drizzle on the way up, & then we broke out into sunny clear skies..

I'll be looking at those photos in the next few mins, & will upload some of the best ones!

EDIT: Hey guys, I honestly don't mean to leave everyone hanging, but I'm not going to be able to put any pics up tonight. Been trying to sort out the best pics, & as it turns out, there are some that are really pretty good - particularly a couple that Sasa took! I'll do my best to get the best ones up tomorrow night, but right now "duty" calls...

Sorry I'm late! Yesterday was a blast, and it was great to get out and stretch the cars legs. I am so glad that we did this and hope that we can continue to do these more often in the future, and maybe even have more people come each time.
I have not put batteries in my camera, but I will soon, and post up all of my pics. Tim you should just post all of your pics!

Wow, those are awsome photos. I gotta give you credit for being in the back and taking those. It was nice to see some new faces there!
I can't wait for Tim and Brandon to get off their lazy asses and post the pictures (including my artistic lay on the ground, pictures).
How's Sheila's foot doing Tim??? I can't belive you put your shoes there so she can trip
.
The run was a blast, Some of the old members should show up next time
. You would'ev loved the run.
We must have been taking corners at 60-70mph on average. Sometimes it got a bit scarry, but the WS6 was the insurance. Rollercoaster ride defenetly.
Brandon was talking that after the run some of us might have to stop and throw up. It was somewhat true.
Now post them pics up.
Please

Actually, I'm more than just a tiny bit aggravated with her - come to find out, she knew that it was broken before we left, but told me that it was just a sprain since we'd stayed up so late preparing for the run the night before...
All in all though, she was glad she went, she's told me 2 or 3 times that she had a good time..!

(And, to be honest, I really like a couple of the photos you took, inc. one of my emblem!)

I think that was the same corner that I glanced over at my wife & saw a face I'd never seen outside of one or two of the wilder Elitch's rides...
I was showering this morning when I had a hell of a realization - I'd totally forgotten that I've modified my suspension within the last few months, & hadn't really tested it out
- expired temp tags will do that to you. I guess I can consider the suspension to be "fully tested" now, eh??
OK, enough talk, I'm going to re-size some of the pictures now, so that they don't take an eternity to download over a dial-up connection. Should have some posted within 15 mins or so...

To be honest, I don't think that my camera really did justice to the color on Garrett & Heather's car (sorry guys!). It looked sweet right there by the water. You can see some of that color right by the headlights...

OK guys, I hope that's enough to "tide ya over" for a bit - I've somehow gotten roped into taking part in the Fantasy Football league at work, & (with the season starting on Thursday) I really need to do a "crash course" on NFL players/teams again.
Some of these guys have been preparing for weeks, & giving me crap because I don't have all my picks lined up...

I have a pic of people standing around talking, as well as a couple of Sasa feeling... "artistic, yet studly" I guess, but I don't post peoples' pictures without permission, since I really hate having my picture taken, much less published...
If everyone in the photos wants to see 'em (and gives their OK), I'll post those later, maybe towards the end of the week.
(BTW Sasa, Sheila used her hands to take those pics - she's awesome all right, but she's not simian...
)
Thanks again for a GREAT time guys!!

(OK Brandon, the ball's in your court now...)

Sorry I'm running late again with getting these pictures up. These are the group shots that I got.

Thats all I got before my camera died. Hope you enjoy.

Next time I'll bring my own camera so I don't have to bug anyone to send me the pics.

Figured I'd throw one more picture up - this is one of the pics that Sasa took of Brandon's car. You did really well with this one Sasa, not to mention the two pics you took of my car that I added to my vBGarage page...

Thanks Tim. I could'ev done much better on that pic though. Next time I will get 'em all perfect.
I am not sure why you wouldn't share the two awsome pics I took of your car.
.
Everybody go to tims VBgarage and chek em out.
Now, we need to organize a meeting where we just take some sweet pics of our cars (I'll get a professional camera). Maybe even record it and put together a short movie that our future clients/members can watch.
Just an idea!

Hey twobirds, I was talking to the guys on sat and it looks like we only live a couple of houses from eachother. We are three blocks up on the corner with the flag on the porch, I think I've been by your house a few times on my motorcycle toting the kids and their freinds around the neighborhood. Feel free to stop by sometime and we'll have a beer.

I know that I could have hit all of those corners alot harder than we did, and yes it would be awsome to know lateral -g's.

While I agree with you guys, but I don't want to see anybody, including me flying off the damn mountain. Its a cruize not a rally. With that said, I had plenty of fun, but not all of us got the suped up suspension, so I guess that could be, at least, a concideration from members that do. Although I have ws6, its tired.

Oh, bro.
Nothing personal to you. Your car is awsome, and I know you need to hit them corners.
. All am saying is that, we might not wanna hit the corners too hard, just because it might be dangerous! Thats all. Just looking out.
Anyways, I might have to take few trips down to your shop. We'll talk about it through PM's or phone.
I am looking to buy some suspension parts for my vert. So, soon I'll have some SFC's and wonderbar, tubular panhard bar, and control arm. etc...
Once again, nothing against you or anyone here really.
It was a fun, fun, fun cruise!
Except my dumbass had AC on the whole time!
