wish me luck

im hoping to get my car to the e-test friday if everything i bought for my car is done by then.
I recently just bought a crap load of stuff to tune up and fix my car. I got some 8mm accel pro wires, accel cap and rotor kit, castrol gtx high mileage oil, radiator cleaner, engine bright, brake stop squeak, new thermostat, engine cleaner, and i think that's all. Anyways when i finnaly get all that on im hoping to pass. If it does pass i'll use my extra money for some weld on subframe connectors (which by the way how much does it cost to get them welded on).

If it doesn't pass do you guys know how much money you have to have spent on trying to get your car to pass before they waive you for a year or something? Ive probably spent about $300 right now in total.

Good luck!!

In my neck of the woods you need a reciept from a shop stating that emission type repairs were made. A parts reciept will not work here.

damnit that sucks. BTW does anyone have a temperature control vaccum switch laying around cause mine is broke and i probably need one to keep my car from overheating. If you want to know what it looks like it's right next to the coolant temperature sensor on carb models.

Yea good luck at the e-test on friday. Even when I know my car will pass I still get nervous waiting in that stupid little booth watching them run my car.

I'm scarred for life after failing so many times. Anyways guys after looking at my carb setup i found a broken plug and after much review its called the temperature control vaccum switch. So i go to my local shops autozone and advance and well they don't have one. Ive searched the internet but can't get any decent results. So do any of you guys have one of these? Its right next to the coolant temp sensor on carb models. It's black with two prongs that stick out and is a screw in type item.
