The BBQ

Ok guys!!!! Mark has set a date and time for this event. I expect to see people posting that they WILL be going. I Know that most of you don't want to drive far, but if there is a big enough turn out I am sure there wouldn't be a problem with moving it to a different location next time!!!!!( for those of you that have a bit of a drive this time). This will be fun and a good chance to get to know the people that we spend a great deal of time talking to on here!!So come on people Show your cars off, make some new friends and have a couple beers!!

For those of you that haven't seen the post on the midwest board this is what is happening; June 23rd at 1:00 p.m.
There will be a gathering of the 3rd gen members(AND OTHER CAR LOVERS) at the Mathiessen State Park
Route 178 (off of interstate 80)
in Utica,Ill.616373

Mark has posted directions--"After you cross the illinois river on 178 you will see the entrance to Starved Rock State Park on your left.Go up the hill till you get to a 4 way stop.Go through the stop sign and the entrance to Mathiessen State Park is on the right just a couple of miles up the road."

It is a BYOB and whatever you want to grill BBQ!!!!!
Spend the day with us and have fun!!

I have used mapquest to get directions from my house to the park so for anyone that doesn't know where this park is ---this will give you very good directions..

POST THAT YOU WILL COME!!!!!!!!:lala: :lala: :lala: :lala: :lala: :lala: :lala: :lala:

I'm going to give you a definate maybe on the bbq. I'm going to a wedding in NW IN on the 22nd. I definately want to start a car club though. If nothing else it gives us a chance to meet each other and actually have something to do on the weekends. Plus we could help with projects and what not.

Matt

We had a good time at the BBQ! Wish that you could have come. There seems to be another plan in progress for a meeting to be held the weekend of the 24 in august. You should check it out on the midwest board. That is where everyone is talking about the meetings.
