Shifting

Allright, here's the problem..... When a have the car floored, being that it has a shift kit, 1st to 2nd gear is an excelent shift at 5,000 RPM's.... But, if i keep the car floored, for some reason the car will go way into the red, and won't shift unless i let up.....any answers?

No shift on the 2-3 means it's time for a rebuild.

Nape is right that is what mine started to do. It will drive forever like that but you cannot use it in a performance application

after my brother has rebuilt bills and his own tranny and taken aprt my tranny and pout it back together, go buy a good rebuild book , video optional, and get a good rebuld kit.. and do it your self if your mancaically savy.

if you take your time its not that bad.

it also helps to take digital picutes along the way and lable everything.

Its just the valve body in the tranny, my brothers GTA did the same thing, but after he replaced it, it only lasted about 50 miles.
