BW 9 bolt with 3.27 posi. Brand new rotors and calipers with 33 miles on them. Each caliper was $75 from autozone with core and the rotors were another $80 for the pair. That's $230 right there. Sometime in the next few months it'll get pulled for a 9". Just guaging interest to see if anyone was looking for one..?

it's not the PBR calipers, but it has the newest version of the other style which corrected all the issues the old ones had. I believe it was also in a recall kit that some vehicles could have bought.

probably in the 3xx range since I have a ton of cash in it. I've sold them for 250-275 with original brake parts on them. Won't be pulled until I get the 9" housing under the car though, so it'll be a little while if you're interested, whole rear end has been stripped and painted gloss black as well so it doesn't look like a rusty piece of junk like most do.

oh yea i kick the back end out sideways at 40mph like nothing. no leaks, might change the fluid since it's basically been sitting in there for 2 years since I only have 30 miles on it since I did everything to the car.

someone shows up with some cash for me and i'll have it out in 2 hours, don't want to pull it until someone actually pays me for it, since it seems that thirdgen owners are some of the worst tire kickers I know and I might want to roll the car around or something. If you'd like to send a personal check then pick it up the following weekend, weeknight etc that would work. I'd just hate to pull it and have the car in the air for nothing. Sound fair?

nice tj that's awesome. Now I just need to figure out what brakes work with 9" rear ends and i'm set, I don't think you can adapt factory ones to it. have to make a call to moser.
also that 9 bolt has ARP Studs in it that were another $50 for the 10 studs.

Hey Steve when i swapped in my 9" i just picked up some ls1 rear disc brakes. I paid $100 for them and they came with rotors, pads, pbr alum. calipers, backing plates, parking brake. It was really a straight forward swap. Just put the backing plates on, then press the bearings/ axles in and bolt up the calipers. Much better than my old drum brakes on the back. you can also use other brakes such as big ford drums and strange brakes ect. you just need the proper backing plate.

nice guess that any 10 bolt backing plate would work then, I know for sure the 9 bolt backing plates wouldn't work though. Tim, you got the model number of the housing and axle package that you bought? Is it a strange or moser?

Its a moser 9" housing with 35 spline axles, nodular third member with 4.11 and spool. I picked it up brand new from a fourthgen guy that had to sell it so i picked it up for $1700 brand new but it is the fourthgen width but i had 5.5 b.s. so it worked out fine. I believe its the same housing just different lengths. I also believe that you can order it to work with 9 bolt disks, 10 bolt disks from 82-02, ford drum, wilwood brakes, and strange brakes.

Also about those ls1 brakes, you have to have the correct axle dimension from axle flange to bearing shoulder or the caliper won't line up with the rotor. these calipers don't float so it has to be very close. I used Explorer brakes on mine because they line right up with the axles I have. They are very similar to ls1 brakes except they use 11" rotors with the same kind of parking brakes (drum shoe type).
