update
so for any of you that have helped me out over the years I thought I would give an update. the new motor and trans are in. 383 with HSR and trickflow heads. also has long tube hookers with a true dual exhaust. so many things that still need to be done before it is drivable, and since I don't have the money to finish right now I thought I would start getting the paint back in shape. here is what the hood and eventually the rest of the car will look like.

old and busted

new hotness

I still need to clean up the wiring among 500 other things on my to do list, but I think I am going in the right direction finally.

Re: update
ick who picked the trick flow heads out for you? the new AFRs is all I would have bought since you're paying a lot of coin for this motor. Probably going to be down 40hp at least over what you could have made.

Re: update
the only thing I am going to repaint is the nose and chin spoiler. I just went to town with the clay bar and rubbing compound on the hood and rear deck. doing a couple of panels at a time. waaaaaaay to **** to do the whole car at once.
