ok... yet another problem with motor!!!

feels like its missing while just cruising around ,but at wide open throttle it feels ok and comes alive ,any ideas on THIS problem?i know its got a mild cam but its not that. kinda feels like something not balanced .like a fan blade missing .yes ,i checked that all ready and its ok

is there a carb on this? I was going to offer to setup the carb for you, but realized your over a hundred miles away. Did you check timing? how do the plugs look? Black smoke out exhaust? etc etc

brand new edelbrock plugs are new cap is new

have not noticed any smoke

Make double sure that one of the wires isn't burned on a header. Check the resistance on the wires too. Make sure they all check out to within a few ohms of each other.

Pull the plugs and make sure one of them isn't oil fouled, could be a badly sealing intake manifold.

Does anyone ever notice any oil smoke until the motor is terminal? Maybe have someone drive behind you to check?

ahhh edelbrock there's your problem. go buy a 650 double pumper holley and it should run better.

ok ,well i swaped flexplates when i had it out of car and didnt notice that the 1 one motor was a weighted flexplate and i put on a none weighted one any chance thats is my problem? i hope so
