My Bad Experience

nope, not my car breaking.

I lost my $400 PDA it had all my work related info and meeting times
I think I left it at the hotel but they said they found nothing.

Anyone find a small black case at the fairgrounds?

Sorry to hear you lost it. Did you have any contact info on it in case someone found it? The closest thing I've had happen was losing a cell phone once. I thought I'd lost my cell phone Monday. I left the theater after watching the 26 min movie on the Antietam battle and realized it was missing. A quick check of the theater, restroom and front desk, nothing. Then I checked the car. Yep, front passengers seat. Whew! I'd received a call from a customer when I rolled into Sharpsburg and forgot to put it back on my hip pocket.

yeah, I had my address and phone # on it.

But, most people don't seem to know how to use the things.

I really think I left it at the hotel, but I'm not positive, and I doubt room cleaning people would turn it in

Anyone else notice an alarming trend???

Everyone on this website has car troubles at the same time.....

One guy blows his engine, another has to be towed home, Mark's breaks went out, someone else had their car break down with the nationals thing, someone else hit a deer on the way home and my damn car started on fire.......

Everyone seems to have troubles at the same time, then you will go about 1-2 months with no negative posts, then all of the sudden bam, everyone's cars has troubles.......it's odd

Some things just break at unfortunate times, sometimes deer get antsy, and other problems are brought on by the car owners. I really think a car should not be taken on a road trip such as that one (my distance was over 400 one way) if they are not 100% road ready, or at least damn sure they will make it. But that's what AAA is for.....
