well, we need a date and an exact location (with directions, would be nice) along with hotel costs so this poor Georgia boy can figure out how to get up there! got a big race on the first of May between my 305 powered 1987 LT and a 360 powered 1974 cuda. so i am trying to get all the loose ends tied up with the new tranny and converter combo along with getting some weld draglites and some m/t drag radials. other than that, healing up from my shoulder surgery and paying bills, i am hoping to save enough to take that weekend off and make a road trip to MD for a fun weekend. again, need specifics!

oh, and if you want to get Cecil County Dragway up there in Rising Sun, you better get on it, or their gonna schedule something instead, unless they already have. do we need to go ahead and send some money up for track rental, etc.? is the gathering gonna cost any money? i know thirdgen bash over in the midwest has an entry fee.

 

 

what about getting someone with a portable chassis dyno? how cool would that be?

 

that would be the coolest. seriously, we need to find a dyno...so i can make all of 180 hp! lg4 power!

well, i should be putting close to 250hp/350tq at the wheels. i wanna prove it though! right now i am only coming if there is going to be drag racing.

 

there will be drag racing, probably at cecil co. drag. good track. not finalized yet tho

you promise me a "Day at the Drags" and get me some dates and i'm coming. about how much are we talking for entry fee? just regular whatever it is they charge, or are we gonna get a deal?

 

there will be park admission fee , that everyone must pay(its only 3 bucks -you can swing it) will cost extra for food , but we'll try to keep it reasonable. if you want filet mignon you'll have to bring it.

 

directions no problem , site must first be secured . as soon as we get ok we'll shoot out the directions from every which way...

 

how much is entry fee at the track? guess i shoulda been a bit more specific.

 

Fee schedule is to be determined. It will be reasonable, and track costs will probably be test and tune rates as we will NOT be renting out the track or any part thereof. I am waiting to hear back on the summer schedule, stay tuned!
