Should be running low to mid 12's. Very close to the combo I want to put in my car and I've seen similar ones run the times above. Very Nice!

the E/T doesnt mean **** as to what the motor is making....its all about trap speed...id say you have 110-112 in it...thats anywere from a low 13 to a hi 11.....trap speed is the true indicator of what its capable of...but seeing as you have DR's a stall and some rear suspension parts, and you can lauch the crap out of it, then you should be able to knock off 12 3's and 4's....

Any reason you went with the ZZ9 cam? I would do something like 219/219 cam or custom grind with no split pattern grind. AFR's have good exhaust port and can run single pattern. Thats what everyone has told me so far cuz thats the same setup i want to run. Low 12's is best i heard but elevens is possible when tunned right and good traction.

I bought the motor used from a buddy and that's the cam he had in it. I was planning on putting in a 219/219 b/c he told me it had a blower cam in it. I took it out and saw that it was a ZZ9, so I figured I'll use that for now and next winter I'm gonna port the heads and slap in a bigger custom cam.

I'd knock the 3.27 gears as poor gears but I ran high 11's with some 3.27's at 117 mph when I had a 383 SBC. 3.90's would have been a lot better for me because of the amount of hp I was producing. I was crossing the finish line well below my shift point so the gearing was all wrong but it was still good runs with 3.27 gears.
I'd catch everyone off guard. They'd 60 foot beter than me and pull away in the first 1/8 mile but I'd catch up and shoot by them at the finish faster than most cars would.

The 3.27's were put on the list b/c thats whats in it now. I'm waiting to put the 12 bolt in until after I get the motor in. It's sitting in the crate with the upgraded Eaton posi unit, 33 spline axles and 3.73's.
