305 strikes AGAIN!

car went 13.759@100.5 after putting on some drag radials (275/60's) 60" was in the 2.0x range all night with one 2.03 best.

very pleased. remember, this is a daily driven (only car) standard bore 305 run on 87 octane fuel. more info on motor in sig.

And people say 305s are useless, way to prove them wrong.

The text in the pic says "310 CID". Which is it?

Agree, though, that's moving out smart with a 305.

Now, for the quickest NA emissions-legal 305 honors...

yeah, it's .030" over but i was saying it's not a 4" bore motor.

thanks for the compliments guys, i am really pleased.

oh, and there are no emissions where i live, so it would make no sense at all for me to run them on the car.

when i went to the track two weeks ago with regular street tires, it seemed to really like my 26" tires. since my dad gave me thedrag radials (they had two seasons worth of passes on them)and i don't have but two more weeks of test-n-tune this season, i am purposing for a set of 275/50 bfg's for next season.

tunedport335, did the stroker kit you running come with forged or hyper pistons? how much did you pay for it and where did you get it? looking to possibly build one of the baddest motors based on a 305 block. do you know what options there are for the kit (c/r, ect.)

let me tell ya, it rocks, cause now i feel like i am getting close to having a fast street car. i mean, i can beat ALMOST anything on the streets here in macon, but there is that small amount of folks who i can't beat. like the hot rod civic at the track for example(his 13.19 to my 13.89). i know he was spraying the **** out of the car, but i don't want to get beat by another one of those things. i would still like to do all my stuff right now based off of the 305 block (they are more than a dime a dozen, and i am hoping someone will give me a block for my next build)

looking for even cheaper than that and hopefully local. if i can't find one that someone will almost give me, i will start the buildup on my 350/383 (already got the block) but i think it would be neat to build a hoss 305 based motor. it doesn't have to be in the car by next season so i am in no hurry. i am actually looking for another vehical before i get much else done on my car. i am looking for a full size truck or something that i can pull my car with (van/station wagon)

if i had a stick, the car would probably be around what yours is running pablo, i would like to get an even higher stall converter too. went with a 1900-2000stall and i think i should have saved for another week and got the 2500-2600 stall converter.

i am going to try to get my 4.10's in the car next week too.
