I'm hoping its a 13 second car now. I know it pulls ALOT harder than stock. It kicks most cars in towns ***
Sucks what happend with your gear problems. Usually when they bolt up bigger gears, it cuts down thier 1/4 significantly. I still think you ran it on a bad day. You going to run it again this weekend?

You need to get some more slips good or bad. Get some Drag Radials and see what those 3.27's do

I think if you got some headers you should brake high 13's. I seen it done before. Buy a 2600 stall convertor on ebay for $130 shipped to your door that will help too. Oh yeah I have a brand new Transgo shift kit never open for a 700R4 want to buy it? That gives you those hard shifts and save your tranny life also. I never got to use it because I order a 700hp trans.

Hopefully the headers will net me high 13's. BTW I already have a shift kit, it's fun.

Well, I'm not 100% postive mine has one in it, but there is no way this car would shift that hard from the factory. I reckon the previous owner did it. I'll post some 700R4 tech articles on re doing transmission out of a mag. in a few days.

woo hoo! I finally have the $ for headers. Any preferences that you guys like. I want to spend less than 500 for Header/Ypipe (doesnt have to be coated). Ive been looking at Hooker 2055s at ThunderRacing.

They have to have A.I.R. Or what do I need to do to remove the air stuff?

Where I live we don't need that stuff so I got rid of my emission equipment. Where do you live and do they check under your hood for inspections?

Well I was hoping to get non air headers, but I wanted to be on the safe side. I found an old inspection card from last year and I have to pass egr but i dont think I have to pass air. So I would take it off of there, but I don't know how to do it without messing it up.
