stunt pump gas 383

Who got fast pump gas 383 with a similar setup as mine .What is your combo and what ares your track time ?

I hesitate on builting a 355 (cr9.75)or 383 (cr11.0)... my goal is to run around 11.6 on motor & 10.7 on 125 hp of juice so i am loockin for a nice setup !!!

I alredy got:
-victor jr heads 215 (2.08-1.60)
-super victor intake
-CC XE XR286R (248-254dur&.576-.582@1.5lift)
-CC 818-16 solid roller lifter
-CC Pro magnum roller rocker 1.6
-Holley HP carb

I had trade my TH 700 for a '76 TH350 th (I will install a TCI pro super kit and a super street fighter stall 3500-3800)

Stock rear end with a locker & 4.10 MT ET drag 28x9x15

Thanx

That is very close to my combination. I have a 383 with brodix track1's and a crower solid roller with 248 and 252 duration. The intake is a team G with an850 speed demon carb. I also am running a th350 with a superstreetfighter and 3.73 gears out back with a 26x9 slick.I run 11.2 - 11.4 @ 119-120 mph and my motor is actually very tired(8 or 9 years old ). I expect to pick up a few more tenths next year after I freshen it up.

mine is very similar. lightly ported vic jrs, custom ground solid roller for bottle. with 3.73s has gone 11.50 and needs some adjustments. everything else should be in sig if not ill put the rest up as well.

Check my signature for my setup. Its a reliable combo that has excellent street manners. I'm still running power brakes and power steering.

the headers are stahl headers. i really think that are great but the price for them isnt so great. i fell into a hell of a deal when i got them. As far as jbenge said my car has excellent street manners as well and there is alot left in this car seeings everything was built around the bottle. im waiting for the weather to cool down around here and when it does i will try to get it in the 20s or 30s on motor and then im confident (based on some testing ive already done the car will dip into the very low 10's maybe a 9.99 on a small shot.

IHI has had one of the better running 383's on the board and if you end up having trouble once its together he can help get you on track.

Built a 383 for my buddy's Nova, Eagle crank/rods, forged flat tops, 11.2:1, AFR CNC'd heads, 236/242, Air Gap intake an Holley 650. Turbo 350 trans and 4.10 10 bolt. Made 515 on our engine dyno and runs 11.5x's.

I'm anxious to see what mine runs, similar setup with 10.5:1 and smaller cam.
