Picked up a set of 28x10.5s stiff sidewall slicks for free yesterday from a buddy of mine. Used for a few months this year. Mounted on 15x10 jegs sport Lite 8 hole wheels I had.
Had to do some clearancing around bump stop and lengthen my Lca's 1/8 inch and Bfh the hell out of the front.
Enjoy

Thanks man the center caps are coming off. Don't like the way they look. Probably gonna get some longer studs for front wheels and throw a spacer on . They look like they are sucked in too far. going to the track with new converter and tires. Gonna try my 26"et streets as well. Got the 28" mostly to run on it when I spray it.

Looks good, i think the front looks fine.
What offset or backspacing on those 15x10s?

6.5 backspacing 15x10 jetgs sport lite wheels
BTW don't run front wheel spacers bad vibration after launch.

Huh... much better fit than he typical 5.5" bs people tend to try to run, but I do wonder if your axle setup might be slightly wider than stock since it just seems that you would have to have some interference on the inside (with a 1/2" less offset I had to do some cutting and hammering to get a 275/60 on my formula). Seems like a 6-6.25" BS should be the magic number for a 10" rim (though they don't exist in any of the reasonably priced wheels)

Bought rear end used. No idea if it is at stock width.Originally Posted by 83 Crossfire TA

what tire pressures do you all recomend starting at? leaving off transbrake
Air pressure varies from car to car and tire to tire. A baseline starting point is 1 PSI per second of ET and go up from there. Since you're already running mid 11's, you might start at 10 pounds and go up 1/2 pound at a time until the 60' times start to slow down.

Wow, never heard of that where`d you hear that from? starting with new stiff wall hoosiers, I can run high 1.2`s at 15 psi and inside of 25 passes I`m down to 12.5 running mid 1.30`s. Suppose I used the 8.6 8.7 ET to tire pressure rule, how long would those sidewalls last then? not bashing just curiousOriginally Posted by AlkyIROC

last time scaled 3480 with me in it, cut some out over the last year but not a bunch

I ran anywhere from 10-12 psi when I use to run the 3055's. Just depends on what track I was at and how hot the surface was. The more air you can run the better.

13.25 psi last weekend on 3055s.
