Don't be surprised. There's a few people that I know of who've done this.
In the New England DSM group, there's another guy who has a Dodge minivan running in the 12's and a Dodge(?) Acclaim running 13's. Both are 4-bangers with turbo's.
AFAIK, both are running 25+ psi of boost. And both can be daily drivers - I think the van is now, but the Acclaim is also streetable.
I've seen where a Vette lined up against the van and think yeah right, like the van is any match for the Vette only to lose. After losing the race, the Vette didn't even stop and drove right out of the raceway.
So, know your competition and be careful out there....
Good luck!

hmmmmm, think about appling 25# of boost to an LS1 or LT1 ??? It would BASICLY make that van look like a big yellow school bus, carring the whole football team.

I have an 87 voyager, myself. I got the EFIV6. It's my business/delivery vehcle.
I love the little f**ker.I took out the back seats(both 250lbs) and the booger spins tires for a good second before it grips.
One thing though, the turbo 4s were horrible engines. They blew right after the warranty expired.
I imagine, this guy put a pretty penny, to make this f**ker move as it does.
The V6s are real work horses.Last forever. That's why I got one. Although it makes me feel good that a caravan can do those #s.
Good show, I say.
