So are you moving here? If so where at. Washington state or Oregon? If you are moving to Washington state your major counties Pierce, King Snohomish all have emissions testing.

Im going to be in Snohomish county Everett Naval Base is where I stay. Im going to be there no later then the 26th of this month. I took the emission **** outta my car. My exhaust consists of Flowtech shorties, cat, flowmaster 40 series. Timing is at stock 6 degrees and afpr is set alittle bit higher. You think I have a chance?

Is there any places that you can pay for a sticker?lol

sadly, unlike california where you can (if you have the right connections) pass emissions without really doing so...here in WA (dunno about the west side)...east, we have dyno's setup just for emissions testing...and it's state run, not shop run. :P

emission question

Being that you are Military you should be able to have an exemption. when I was at Fairchild AFB in Spokane I was exempt.
I would check into it with someone at your base.

Not always over here on this side of the state Most cars even those that are Military have to be Emission tested & have to pass. They are even starting to require even if you live in an area that is not tested that if you drive that vehicle on base so many days a year that you are required to get Emission tested.

Im going to try and get inspected before I leave Va cause I have no emission laws here. It will make me good for another year or so.

I registered all my Cars in Colville and live in spokane So I don't worry about smog emissions. but our gov. in Washington state want to adapt California emissons. I will vote against that

as far as being climat friendly the only thing that i can think would be a problem is an open air filter. it will get wet. may want to plug up the hole in the bottom of the airbox if you have done that mod. i have a rubber insert i put in during the winter and pull out in dry weather.

Emmision tests are zone specific. I have lived in both King and Pierce counties, Ag zones rule over all

(Never had to test, would pass anyway but I love to save money)
