Hey, maybe so. It's an 86 IROC Z, red. I was trying to upload a pic on here, but no luck. What do you have? Not too many nice third gens up here.

 

Who that is nice, I have an 89 Formula. Was a 5 speed TPI car.

Yup it'll be back on it's wheels next week. I'm still building the motor, then trans needs rebuilt. I have a lot to go before it's running but im trying to hurry up because I want to drive it already, all the while taking the time to do it right.

 

Been looking for awhile and finally pulled the plug yesterday. 1988 IROC Z, W/5.7 auto. located in Newman Lake right between CDA and Spokane. Drove it back from the Oregon coast today and it ran great the whole trip.
Will be looking at getting some tires from Shay at Best Tires in CDA in the next month or so.

Guys still alive...

 

I am the shop teacher in Noxon MT. My students and I are currently working on a bastard of a car. 83 Z28. We turned it over last hour (by mistake) and we all have renewed faith in it.

That being said, I am running into hood issues. I am running a 350 with a Summit intake. On top of that is a 1" spacer and a Rochester. Without an air cleaner, the hood would hit the top of the carb.

Anyone have a cheap 3" cowl hood?
