new to you guyz

Greetings from Tacoma WA!

Just wondering if i actually need to join the cascade riegion or do i qualify if i am a member of thirdgen.org? Anyhow, I went up to the dyno with my friends ford lighting club and heard that the northwest camaro club was at turbo tech a few weeks ago. I was wondering if it was from the thirdgen club? By the way, I was extremely depressed because my 91Z28 (350) s/c pulling 8lbs of boost only produced 280rwhp. But, the car was runnning bad! It was dumping fuel out of the tail pipe due to a bad unknown sensor which turned out to be the tps sensor. Now it is running fine! I wonder what it would pull now? Anyhow, just though i would see what the club is up to in my area.

Later

Craiger

Welcome We've got atleast one person in Tacoma ... RSFreak

Umm.... talk to the others about the joining/qualifying hehe... Cause frankly they didn't make that too clear for me I'm just gonna stick around and see if we can't make Cascade the best in WA (yeah, I think we established that it was the best vs. the rest last weekend hehehehehe) ...

Cascade Crew is basically those of us from www.3rdgen.org (oh no that OTHER third gen site hehe), www.lastgen.com, and www.thirdgen.org ... Amorget has a site setup for www.cascadecrew.org, but we're going to stick with 3rdGen/ThirdGen for our message boards, it'll keep the rest of us in one place more or less instead of just jumping around.

Where is this dyno you speak of? I think if we have an end of the summer type gathering that we may make a trip out of that one depending on where we have it.

I'm not sure how many of us are even associated with NW-FBody, or any of the other camaro clubs around here for that matter... we just have a nice range and we're very supportive of the group, even when it comes to new members

How much was that Dyno? it may be worth the second trip to you to go get it dyno'd again now that its running better I'd hope that with 8 lbs that it'd be up past 320 somewheres but I dunno... what kind of supercharge you have?

Craiger, welcome. Being a member of Thirdgen.org or 3rdgen.org (though not as much) makes you a member of the CascadeCrew as long as you want to post. We are really a great group, but if you want technical stuff NW-F is about the best. Me and Crusaader (aka Jesse) are both members of NW-F. Most of them live a little ways away from us being most are in the Bellevue/Seattle area.
The rest of the crew should join NW-F being lots of ties into NW-F and F-Body Racing (North West F-Body Racing, but they race under F-Body Racing)
Anyway, anything else you want/need to know, just ask.
BTW, one member of NW-F is gonna be at Turbo Tech this weekend or next, something like that. Oh, and the PWNCC (Pacfic Northwest Camaro Club) is another Camaro Club around here, most NW-F members are not members and vise versa being at the Club Car Challenge nights at SIR PNWCC and NW-F race against eachother.... with some interesting cars racing for them, but that is beside the point.
Anyway, Hope thats why you wanted to know!
Douglas

Its not as much because I don't post over there and I own www.cascadecrew.org, that is why :-) In reality their are a lot more members on Thirdgen.org then the other Thirdgen by probably 10 fold, but they haven't posted here yet. But actually, it was more of a slam on 3rdgen.org then anything else.

We have no less than 3 female crew members... too bad they're all taken huh?

oh well ...we'll get more... I hope (we need more redheads :: innocent look:

I hope more people start wandering from the tech above and post here to let us all know they're around so we can get ahold of them at some point in the near future

at any rate, I don't care one way or another if its thirdgen.org or 3rdgen.org ... just as long as members from both are included and just as long as we don't argue which is better for a crew board and all that...

Having said that... if any of y'all know more people who are looking for something local, send em this way... or that way... depending on their board of preference hehe

Well Hmm.. I'm in Vancouver, WA so anyone down here is welcome to meet up with me and shoot the breeze. I've been a member of Cascade Crew since I believe it's Inception about a year ago or so right here on Thirdgen.org. Both sites are good for different stuff. Anywho Anyone who wants to get together with me feel welcome. I live on 138th right above the chevron at 28th and 138th. My cars in the process of being worked on. 1984 SC 350 soon to be manual. Anyway I'm out. ACtually sunny day right now.

[EDIT:] Oh and I just got some cool floor mats for my camaro. Those who I told already know. Just got 'em yesterday and MAN are they sweet!

Whats up Craiger? I'm in Tacoma also. Most of the people on the other boards know me as Z28Freak, but I was bad and got banned from this site, so I had to change my name. It works though, 'cause I just sold my '85 Z and got a '91 RS. I rarely see nice 3rdgens (except mine of course!) in the Tacoma area, where ya been hiding?!
