Just thoughts ....I guess

Well.....I havent been on the net lately.Just been really busy , hehehe going to the wreakers for interior. I thought it was about time , I got sick of looking at the metal interior that my car features. Actually I'm kind of pissed off that the gas prices have jumped to 82 cents/ litre . I can't believe it!!! When I first started my Z gas was about 40 cents. That is over %100 increasement. I cant afford this anymore , its like I need a oil refinery to run the thing. No F_uckn gas prices are going to make me sell my god damn Z28. Why the F_uck are these prices so high? What I'm guessing is that it is a supply and demand problem. Well they should get some more supply. F_uck wake up and start getting that gas out there. Soon , if the prices go up to 90 to a dollar for a litre , I'm going to protest. I can't believe that the Canadian goverment isnt doing anything out there soon enough nobody will be able to drive anywhere , specally on long trips. Usually I go on long trips about three or four times a summer . Now its going to cost me a leg and arm.

Heh, umm, how much is that converted to per gallon price? Surprisingly, gas here isnt to bad, normally, since we are so close to the border, the gas stations like to think they are in California too, so they jack up the prices as well. But, its like 1.71 here for 89 octane. I topped it off the other week, and Ive got a little under a 1/4 tank, and the trip meter says Ive driven 275 on this tank!! TPI kicks *** ! And thats not driving it normally either. Heh, the other day I was coming back from town, and a Jetta VR6 wanted to play, so we did one run from 35 to about 100 or so, then we ran again.

I cant wait till next week when I get my Aluminum heads! Ill keep you guys posted on that! And hey Andy, you can always come down here if gas gets to crazy for ya!

Gas prices are going to continue to suck as long as we are dependant on the middle east for oil... And they are laughing all the way to the ****ing bank and we know it! They decide they are going to CUT production making their backpockes fatten up... And Andrew, if ya move south of the border it better be Northern Washington not Southern Oregon!

Yeah... Joe is paying for the 89 what we're paying for 92...

Washington State now beats even the Carolina's in gas prices for comparisson

Hows that for a shock? usually the carolina's have gas for about a buck less than us... literally

Man, that just sucks. You need to get a little better gas mileage somehow... buying a 700R4 used would probably pay for itself pretty fast with gas prices like that. Glad you are getting a new interior!
I am gonna come up sometime in the next come weeks for a Friday and Saturday for the illegal drags and such.
Later man,
Douglas

Is that Saturday? I doubt that is a good day for me to be going up for various reasons. Sounds like a lot of fun, though. BTW, F-BOY, you owe me a race!

In a non car related note, don't completely blame the dune-coons (aka Arabs )...last year one of the top oil refining companies in Canada doubled their profits!!! Just goes to show that alot of the gas price problem is being generated on our side of the atlantic

Amorget, No June 3rd is actually a sunday, but hopefully another time though. Any buddy else- come support the F-body?. And as far as that race goes as soon as I getting it running again(normal) we have to meet up again and try your Displacement vs efficiency theory .

One of the major ploblems is that stockholders are demanding that the petroleum companies show more return on their investments. It's all about pursuit of the might dollar.

Good point. If you're in Canada read that as 'It's all about pursuit of the might $.45.' Much better.
