Can we talk about cars again?
Can we talk about cars again?
Please?
I see enough of this on the news and hear enough about it at school.
I understand the importance of it and its impact on the world, but could we at least keep it to one thread instead of 6 or 7 or whatever it is? Or maybe keep our arguments and negative feelings towards each other in personal things like email, AOL, MSN or ICQ? There is an ICQ/AOL/MSN roll call here, find the person and hash it out there.
And also, please don't assume that all the youth in this world is ignorant. I am only 20 and take offence to comments made regarding things like that. Some young people are ignorant, but the majority aren't.
Sorry if this offends anyone, I'm not trying to say we should just forget about everything that has happened. I just wanna have a place to talk about cars and escape from the harsh realities of life again.

I have to agree, not all youth are ignorant... though I will admit that some of us are dumb ****s... I've always said that because I feel very strongly that a lot of them are. Not aiming that at anyone, I've felt that since I turned 13.
As for car talk, I HATE MINE!!! It is sitting in my driveway with no doors or anything on it... it looks so sad, but it is getting better.
I tried to put the doors on... but the door pins are bent to hell!!! DAMN IT!! Oh well... I will put the other doors back on and fix the door pins.

Hmm.. does a ticket count? Well, Ive got my hearing at 9 in the morning tomarrow. Im pleading quilty, because, I did it. I want to get this over with, so Im just gonna deal with it like that.
First ticket Ive gotten.. only the 3rd time Ive ever been pulled over, and for the people that have met me, they know how I drive, my luck ran out.
So, I will run to a store, and purchase a radar detector soon

No AutoX will be a good idea. I hope the setup works for you. I have heard of people running that setup on the street, also, but not with a big block and such. That must put a heck of a lot more weight/stress on that towers. Do you have a strut tower brace?

The springs are moved outboard from the stock position. The Mechanical advantage is much greater and it only requires 200 lb/inch springs even for the big block (compared to 500+ lb/inch for a typical sport spring). That in and of itself helps the situation significantly. It's not as bad as what may seem at first glance.
