Yeah, it's a drum-brake posi. It's on the TA that I'm parting out, so it might be best to swap out the rear ends at my place, because I have to keep something on it to be able to move it around (I'm parting out an 86 TA, and I swapped the disc brake rear end for the drum brake rear end that came on the Z)
The brake assemblies are not on the car, tho I have the parts.
Make me an offer.

The TA is all there except for the drive train, radiator... some dashboard stuff.
I dunno... I'd think about it, minus the wheels.
As for the rear end, I'll let you know by noon tommorow. (Wednesday)

Non ttop... I yanked the front seats too, come to think of it, but they would go with the car. Local u-pull it price for the posi rear end is "$300-$450."
I'd go $850 for the entire car, including wheels and tires, $600 without the wheels/tires.
'Course, we could always talk a trade for my V6 Fiero....

They're the standard 15 inch z28 wheels (5 spoke) nothing really specail... but the tires are brand new 225/50R15 grands from Uncle Les.
$300 is their low end business price. Knowing you're in the hurt locker, I'd go $260 and your old rear end (even screwed up, it would still allow me to push the TA around.) plus you could swap it out here, if you felt like it.
All the hot coffee you could drink!
The Fiero's an 86... body's straight, put 15 inch dodge lazer wheels and tires in good shape. Its a 4 speed, 172K, slight puff of smoke on first start up of the day, newly professionally recovered seats. It's my daily driver. Champagne colored, I guess, sun roof, full guages. Typical reasonable well kept V6.

Trade... hell, I don't know... we could talk about it...
The TA sits behind a fence that opens to a concrete pad. Open the fence, push TA out to pad, pull rear end, leave up on jack stands.
Put yours in the garage, swap rear ends, drop it, put your junked rear end into TA, shove back behind fence.
Drink a **** load of hot stuff... keep from freezing.
And yeah, I've got a garage. Dry, but a COLD MF.
