Guy has an ad posted in the Wednesday paer for an IROC, 350 TPI (must be automatic unless he swapped) with only 78K on hte clock. HE's asking for 2800, which isn't unreasonable, according to Kelly Blue Book (I just checked). I wish I had 2800 sitting around and a parking place for it, I would really consider getting it just to have another f-body, plus a lot of the parts would swap into my GTA without problems.

That is a pretty good deal for it on this island. I wish I had the money and room, then I would get it.

Ian, you're lookin' at the wrong section in the classifieds.

It's spelled "P-O-N-T-I-A-C!"

If you find a good later formula, let me know. I'm so jealous of my cousin's '90 formula that he just picked up yesterday. (He lives in WA, but he sends me pics and calls me to brag.)

That might be a good deal though, someone should check it out.

Laters,
Scott

Just looked in the paper & saw that ad. Right under it is an ad for another 88 IROC for 1000/OBO. Damn the deals are getting better & better.

A grand? Shoots, someone needs to call those guys and get the scoop - I was going to call yesterday to 'gather intelligence' but they guy wasn't home. And yes, the proper section IS spelled P-O-N-T-I-A-C, but all they have (or had, haven't seen todays) wa a Fiero and a dealership wants 1500 for a Firebird. Sorry, I am NOT going to a dealership to buy a used car, when I can go private party.

And besides all of that, a Trans Am and Camaro only differ from sheetmetal - most of the guts are Coporate (READ: Chevrolet) anyway.

There are a couple more camaros in the paper, but they're probably 6's. Ya' never know though.

Too bad pontiacs aren't fallin' from the trees like the chevys!

Later,
Scott

Just for an update. A new Camaro is in the paper if you haven't seen it yet. 6 cyl though. says it has some damage & 140k mileage. Best part is the price. $400 Also for you Pontiac people there is an 86 Firebird in the papter for about $2500 I think

Sorry, I got a project beater already... It needs a fix-it list two miles long...! Also, unless that Firebird is a Formula, I can't see paying 2500 - I paid 2700 for the GTA.
