LS1/T56 conversion setup (tough parts) sale or trade for engine/tranny
Hey guys, after some family issues and doing some realistic thinking I need to get my car done again and back on the road. To do so I won't be able to finish my LS1/T56 swap the way I wanted to. So I have to sell everything.
What I have is:
2000 LS1, shortblock has 12,000 miles. Have pics of inside of engine to show condition. Heads were replaced with 6.0 liter heads which are shaved/mild port and valve job (these heads flow better than LS6 heads on low end, and almost dead even on top end. With the work done to them they outflow LS6 heads). I had sold all the fuel injection off this motor because I had decided to go with the new GMPP Carbed setup (for drag use)and MSD tunable ignition system. So what you would need is a complete intake manifold (go on ebay for 150-200 with injectors etc all day long) and a wiring harness and computer. I will also include my custom made LS1 long tube headers to fit in a 3rd gen (I have pics of these as well). I have all accesories (I would suggest a new alt because mine has a crack in the rear of the plastic housing) I can include the A/C compressor brackets etc but I would suggest using the f-body motorsports adapter to keep your stock compressor if you want a/c. I will also include the S&P motor mount adapter plates. These allow you to use your stock mounts instead of welding new ones onto the crossmember. ****NOTE, you will have to move the mounts back on the crossmember about an inch to keep everything lined up like factory (driveshaft length etc) but this is very easy, just measure straight across the top of the mounts then drill 3 holes on each side and rebolt mounts in place
Viper Spec T56, 1,500 miles on transmission. This is a GM LS1 T56 case but rebuilt with Viper internals (carbon fiber syncros, hardened shift forks etc. Can hold alot of power). Will include a Centerforce Flywheel, Spec Stage 3 Clutch, Pro 5.0 short shifter, Spohn T56 crossmember with driveshaft loop and adjustable torque arm, 3rd gen manual pedals, brand new clutch master cylinder etc.
K, I probably haven't listed everything but this is basically everything to convert your car to an LS1/T56 BUT the computer, wiring and fuel injection (I can get you a computer for 100 and I would suggest a painless or Speartech harness anyways)
I would like to get $3500 for everything(or trade for complete performance small block with built transmission so I can hurry and get the car on the road), but price is negotiable. The transmission alone cost $2500. Everything is VERY low mileage and in perfect working condition. I just can't afford to finish the project now. My loss is your gain. Send emails to DalZ24@aol.com and if you need pics I do have them. Make offers. Thanks

Are you interested in selling the Cross-member/ driveshaft loop separately?

Sorry, don't really wanna trade straight up for a TPI motor. I'm probably just going to keep the LS1 now and sell out the T56 for a TH350. Ya, wives can do that to ya
but looks like you have a nice ZZ4 setup working

Dallas is an awesome guy to deal with, as a good portion of my interior pieces came from him, lol.
I honestly wish I had the money for this as it is now what I'm going to be doing. I was in a hurry to get mine back on the road, but it's been down a year now and I really don't care how long it takes me to do exactly what I want, I'll just stick with it.
I'll trade you straight up for my mom. She cooks a mean meal, dude!
Good luck.
