I am not quite sure what you mean glides?? But nothing is broken on it and it is from a 86'! I am going to e-mail you a pic now!!

On each side of the unit are two metal channels that allow the unit to move up and down. Inside these channels are plastic glides to keep the unit centered within the metal channels. On my old unit, these plastic guides or glides are broken and cracked. Do you know if this unit will work on an 88 camaro. Email me the picture directly.
