MInes far enough away to fit you fist between the IC and radiator. Its kind of angled toward the motor but only slightly. Its definetly better than the scoop that ATI gives to block airflow to the radiator.

here's a pic of my old one! sorry for the blurring view that's flush to the radiator....

The new one will be mounted the same way only with shorter piping since it has the turndowns already.......

I've got mine in front of the radiator, tipped forward. The bottom edge is about an inch or two fwd, resting on the bottom of the frame opening, while the top has a good 8" clearance.

askulte, so you have what? one airdam forcing air up through the IC then the radiator???

my biggest concern is getting enough air to both

also.....what did you attach the bottom supports for the front bumper cover to after getting rid of the stock support? or did you just not worry about those

Just a nice open front-shot through the front valence. Too much air makes it through there, and makes the front of the car wander at high speeds. I no longer have a radiator lower air dam, either. On the list of things to do is modifying the hood to extract that air, possibly tilting the rad forward with the IC.

The lower valence supports are just along for the ride, but could be dzus'd to the radiator/IC shroud.
