Re: My 3.4L v6 t3/t4 turbo build

heres some runs we made while tunning these are all 3/4 psi and 1/4 to half throttle due to an issues with the wideband we did get it fixed so we will be making some runs tom at full throttle and will turn the boost upto 10 psi

Re: My 3.4L v6 t3/t4 turbo build

minor spark blowout above 3500 rpms goping to regap the plugs and see if that helps , if not were going to swap out his spark plugs for d=some delco r42tsks, right now he has acdelco rapid fires in the motor which have a very tiny pointed electrode that im afriad are getting to hot under boost

but the car does run really strong even at only 3/4 psi and 1/2 throttle
only took me about 45 mins to get the fuel tables tuned once we got the wideband sorted out car sits at a nice and safe 11.5 afr under boost right now and once i sort the ignition issue i will lean it out to a good 12.0-12.5 ar under boost

as strong as this car pulls ( harder then mine i think) i wouldnt be surprised if this car sees mid 11's with an upgraded turbocharger without pushing it to hard

lil worried about the t5 in the car though think i was told it it just shy or just over 200k miles on it lmao, but it atleast has a ram clutch in it so shouldnt have to worry about burning that up

steven wants 10 psi for street driving so ill be tunning the car for that here in a lil bit

We were just in PA last night checking out my buddies TTA #850 that he just picked up from a member on this board. The dash pad is yours if you want it, and its in very good condition. I also have an arm rest pad for the center console, also in great condition (Click Here). You can have both of them together for $50.00, cuz I don't need them anymore (no more Camaro's for me lol). By the way, your ride sounds great. A bunch of us were recently introduced to the street racing scene at night in philly, so maybe we'll see you down there one night....

Ahh, got him mixed up w/the other V6 Camaro you were helping the guy out with Dave, the one with the painted purple intake. He should really consider a stalled automatic....

Re: My 3.4L v6 t3/t4 turbo build

Nooooooooooo automatic, the car was one so I changed it. I'll get a stronger clutch when time and money allow. I'll just have to be easy on it for now. We may have another problem at the moment anyways fuel pump might be on it's way out. It is the original so no surprise there

Re: My 3.4L v6 t3/t4 turbo build

finished upt he install fully now and even have the full exhuast on the car with a homeade mule man this thing is sleeper quiet till boost comes in and then alls u hear is turbine whine and then the bov when u shift.

deadbird made the muffler and damn it sounds good

btw im am switching my own car from my stainless headers to this design that i did on pilsburys car they are that much better and they retian all accesorys witht he exception of the smogpump

only downside is u wont be able to use anything bigger then a 3 inch downpipe unless u use oval tubing for the downpipe were it passes the header and heater box unless u use a non ac box

and a video from last night
data log shows 25% throttle opening max and it still goes right threw the rpms in all the gears max boost in this video was 2.7 psi according to the datalog anything more then that right now and the clutch slips pretty good

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjABQHaL6JU

and liek steve said the fuel pump may posibly be on its way out, drove the car around for a long time last night and when he brought the car back home it about 3 blocks away it started to run rough then it stalled right as he was backing into his driveway
it cranked back over but wouldnt fire and we couldnt hear the fuelpump kick back on, ew tries later it fired and died and then tried it again and it fired up and ran fine.

the fp relay is wired to a switched ignition point so it comes on soon as the key is on so we know that isnt the issue

its either going to be the oilpresure switch or the pump itself only time will tell
tha or his gas gauge is now off for some reason and he is just about out of gas lmao

an automatic in this car would be sick but its not going to happen lmao ive tried getting him to consider it but theres no way that will ever happen.
but once this thing gets a good clutch in it and is fine tunned i see this car breaking alot of records it pulls so damn hard at only a few psi of boost and this is comming from somone who has a 12second turbo v6 himself. im pretty sure his car would deff walk mine in a drag race

there's no thinking about it! they're just garbage. i had a set in a stock 2.2L cavalier, it popped and banged and just ran like ****. ran into town, new plugs and it ran like a champ. know a couple other guys that had similar experiences

hey everyone, i have been speaking with spec clutches in regards to my own clutch needs and in the process they have offered up a forum discount for TGO members. so if your in the market for a stonger clutch hit them up for a 15% discount per Dave Norton

Re: My 3.4L v6 t3/t4 turbo build

well the clutch is in and i got to take it for a little drive today since the weather warmed up to almost 40*

so far im happy with it, its a little grabby but its not bad at all. it slips just enough to make it streetable. im sure once i get used to it a bit there wont be any complaints from me.

once spring gets here i can get back to tuning and get in a good dyno run. hopefully the trans and or rear dont explode in the process lol

Did you have them made for you or did you make them your self? I know this is a stretch but if you made them would you consider making some and letting me know how much itd cost?
