Stainless Works Twin Turbo SBC Headers!

I was just figuring what I need to build my TT headers when I found this! Anyone running a set yet? I think I'll just buy the headers from them rather than go through all the hassle to build my own!

Stainless Works introduces its new Muscleflow Twin Turbo Headers for Small Block Chevrolets. Manufactured from 304L Stainless, the headers feature 3/8" thick, CNC laser cut flanges, and CNC mandrel bent 1 5/8" or 1 ¾" primary tubes. The headers are completely tig welded together, and are available with a T04 turbo flange or made with flanges for your specific turbo. Custom sizing and installed oxygen sensor bungs are also available. Suggested retail pricing is $1200-1500 based on tubing size and flange options.

Stainless Works manufactures high quality CNC mandrel bent headers, exhaust systems, mufflers and components for musclecars, street rods, street machines, trucks, sport compact, and motorcycles. The company sells both private label products and products under the Stainless Works brand. Stainless Works products include: 65-73 Mustang Tri-Y headers and exhaust, 55-66 Thunderbird exhaust, 67-81 Camaro headers and chambered and non chambered exhaust, 64-72 Chevelle headers and exhaust, 55-64 Chevy exhaust, 55-89 Corvette exhaust and sidepipes, stainless mufflers, clamps, bends, and air intake tubes.

I mentioned what I was going to put them on, and they didn't say anything about being a problem...hopefully they have a little latitude as far as tube placement goes.

I dont get why someone does not make log style manifolds, in mass production. there are TONS of cars that they would fit in, & with a large enough log, they could support a bunch of HP, & they would be "cheap" to produce.

Heck that guy in Chicago was running high 8's with his 75 Camaro, with a log style manifold build out of Schedule 40 pipe.

Guido,
For $1200-1500, you could make a killing.

Having measured out the engine compartement, it's not the motor plate that is letting you get away with that setup, it's the tubular crossmember. I'm curious if you've measured it out... is the engine in the stock location or is it actually relocated a little?

The engine is in the stock location.

And i GARUNTEE you could not do this with out the motor plate the way mine is setup.

You can do them with a stock k-member and motor mounts. Its a royal PITA to do though.

I called stainless works a few months ago, and those headers go 9 inches out from the flanges, I highly doubt they would fit, but if they do that would be awesome. let me know if you get them, I would be really curious on the fit if it was possible.

there was another thread that mentioned those headers. They will require the modification of the shock towers to fit a 3rd gen . headman s10 swap headers filpped work though.
