blower VS supercharger

Whats the difference in a blower and a supercharger or are they the same thing.

Same thing, man.

The term 'blower" is sometimes used to describe a turbocharger or a supercharger but more commonly for the supercharger.

Then whats the difference in the thing that you put two carbs on and has a big scoupe and the one thats on say a svt cobra or like that.

That's a blower, supercharger, huffer etc. Same as on a SVT Lightning, SVT Cobra, Supercharged Bonneville, whatever. The factory stuff is generally just a smaller version.

There are different types of sueprchargers. The one that might stick out of the hood would be a roots. Ones for our TPI would be centrifigal. The SVTs are a third type, i THINK, but i cant think of the name suddenly. Someone else can confirm/deny that
