My twin turbo project has begun...
Well, I finally decided to start my junkyard twin turbo project. Details and what-not are on my new site. Go easy on me, it's only a simple site
www.ttz28.com
Some of the links on the side bar don't work yet because it's still early in the project, so please be bear with me..
Anyhoo, please let me know what you guys think.
Cheers!
P.S. - if the link doesn't work the first time, try refreshing.. I just registered the domain name and I think it hasn't been fully updated on all the DNS servers. Or just go directly to it here

I see your also on the BLOWTHRU Yahoo groups too. Coool. I'm getting close to firing mine up but I still need to get a blowthru carb and fuel system and put my 9" in my car. Good luck and have fun with it.

They would just break. And always at work in the same parking spot. Who knows. They'd break when I started my car. I replaced one and didn't think too much of it. Then I broke another one about a month after so then I replaced them all. The K-motion K-700's are cheap junk. Lots of people have had them break. Don't ever buy them.

That's brutal! What brand did you go with this time? I was talking with my engine builder one day and told him I was using Comp Cams springs.. He was telling me that Comp Cams makes Camshafts, not springs, and that they buy their springs from another company and sell them under the Comp Cams name. Not sure how much truth there is to that, but I would ASSume that he knows what he's talking about..
Either way, I havn't had any problems with the Comp springs.. Even when we changed all my valves/springs/retainers from my old bowties to the pro action heads, the springs were all still within spec. Time will tell I guess..
Cheers!

Oh man, don't tell me that.. I know all too well what crappy valve springs can do.. Guess I should have done some more research before I bought them. /sigh
Just out of curiosity, what kind do you guys recommend?
Cheers!
