how long of nitrous line do i need?

how long of nitrous line do i need?

anyone who has run their bottle in the rear of the car and ran it under the car to the engine, how long of a line did you use? i have my bottle mounted in the spare tire well, how much line would ineed to run it under the car to the engine bay? thanks!

Depending on the routing i would say more than 14 feet. Mine was close and I went through the interior with 14 feet, pretty much a straight shot.

maybe a 16foot will be enough then?

You will be fine with a 14 foot line. I ran mine from the rear well area along the drivers side (under the car) and then up and over the transmission and out on the passenger's side of the motor and I still had like a foot and a half of slack. Trust me.

I dont consider 18 inches slack. If he mounts his bottle 8" further back than you he is left with less than a foot of slack. Also, where did you mount the bottle? I mounted my bottle in the very back of the spare tire well.

I mounted mine in middle down in the well with the nozzle facing the driver's side of the car. So you actually have a shorter route than me. Mine has to go up and over the axle, up the driver's side of the car and then cross over and come up behind the passenger's side of the motor. If you don't think it is long enough or just want to be safe, then go ahead and get the 16 foot hose. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry right?
