Thats not a link for 85 TPI cars. Maybe you should read the links before you post them?

Not only I`ve read it but I`ve got a Procharger from them
and if it works for a TPI it works for all TPI`s.
Maybe you should think when you read

*sigh* I cannot believe I actually have to spell this out.

Alright benroc. Thirdgen 101:

85-87 TPI thirdgens, were equipped with a v-belt accessory drive system.

88-92 TPI thirdgens, were equipped with a serpentine type accessory drive system.

That being the case, there are supercharger KITS designed to work with both types of belt drives. The kits for 88-92 are more plentiful. Paxton USED to manufactur a kit that worked with the 85-87 type v-belt drive but they discontinued that line.

That being said, if someone wants to convert from the earlier v-belt to the later serpentine setup, they can do. Its time and money consuming as the power steering, water pump, alternator and air conditioner all need to be changed. Then, you can use one of the 88-92 kits on the 85-87 model year setups.

I have an 86 IROC and I have BEEN down this road. I converted to the later style in the past because I went from one of the old paxton kits (which is junk I might add) to the later style so I could put a Vortech supercharger on my car.

Make any sense now?
