Need Intercooler That Will Support Serious Power Asap

ok this is not as easy as it sounds...the intercooler must somehow fit my 91 Z28. im looking preferably for an air-air one and if they make twin hi-flows that i can set up the same as in Willie's post, but support my power range (1000fwhp) someone please tell me where i can get them.

if not, then i could do a frount mount set up but i need for it to fit in the front. i am currently removing all A/C related parts so i will be taking out the condenser infront of my radiator. from looks of it i dont have all that much room. what can i do??

i was looking into spearco....but are there any certain/minimun size i need for it to be able to support 1000HP? if this is going to be a front mount it needs to be able to fit infront of my radiator...hopefully even have room so i can set up a fan behind it to help keep everything cool as i know im gonna have a hot car using a front mount intercooler.

There is NO Way that 3 1/2" thick intercooler is going to fit between in front of the Radiator. I have a 3"X31"X12" and the only way to go bigger is you could probably go 15" or 16" tall. I to got rid of ALL of the A/C stuff and I also had to notch the lower Radiator support to move the Radiator back until it touches the Power Steering. Just barely enough room! I can take some pictures if you want.

I'm not incredibly familiar with camaros, but does it have to go between the radiator and the back of the radiator/AC "tray"? It should be easy enough to mount a big intercooler between the bumper supports and the front of the radiator tray, just in front of those diagonal braces. Or am I completely wrong and camaros are totally different in this area?

I'm planning on mounting an NPR intercooler in this area forward of the radiator tray. I should have plenty of room even with it at a diagonal with the top leaning forwards. I even cut and welded the radiator support down 1" and back about 1" to clear a 3" downpipe crossover. My radiator sits completely underneath the metal frame where the AC condensor used to be.

We used a core from a semi truck.

The core was 65.5cm ( 25.8 inch ) wide and 6cm ( 2.3 inch ) thick.
The height was 51cm ( 20 inch ) and we cut it down to 42.5cm ( 16.7 inch ) because that was the maximum size that would fit where the A/C condensor was. We had to move the radiator back i bit too. The inlet and outlet are both 3".

yea thats what i was thinking....it looks to me to have plenty of room but i may be wrong as i havnt removed my bumper yet..
also im cutting some of the bumper (the center section where the license plate would mount) so its one big opening allowing maximum air flow. and to show off the intercooler of course
