Which engine for twin turbo
If turboing is your plan, don't get a carbed car. Get the TPI car and run the $58 code when its time for the turbos. That way you've already got the engine management under control and don't need to worry about not trusting a carb or swapping to fuel injection later.

anyhoo like he said, if you plan to use the factory ECM, youd want a SD TPI motor... since it can run the $58 code with minimal hassle...
if you plan to use a aftermarket ECM, any SBC would work.
id reccomend a 350 though, just for the larger power output....
heh. yes i'm quite annoyed lol
Spent an hour, TPI intake is off and all the harness is out. Carb intake should go back on in an hour, install fuel pressure regulator etc...i should be up and running in time to drive to work as a test drive.

Towards the bottom of the post I linked below are two book sources for turbo info. They will help tremendously if you are wanting to learn turbocharging.

Edit- Actually, I just gazed over that thread again- the books are actually listed in the first paragraph as well. There is other good info in that thread as well- I suggest using it!
