Will the NOS TPI kit fit my 52mm Throttle Body?

Since it is set up for a stock tpi, will it be the spray bar mounting plate be smaller than my 52mm throttle body.

ttt sorry i cant help but i actualy was wondering the same thing, except for a 58mm tb.

anyone, i suspect it wont fit correctly (just think if the spray bar was bigger than stock it might possibly spray outside the openings) but i need some positive reinforcement here.

All you need to do is convert MM to inches. The 52 and 58 is the diameter in inches

lol

so lets check my math.....the N2O plate opening for one hole is 2.33 inches in diameter correct?

one inch equals 2.54cm

the 58mm tb comes out to ~2.29 inches in diameter.
(58mm = 5.8cm / 2.54 = ~2.29) so both would just fine i think.

is that correct?

more stuff to add to this..........

why is it the TPI plates will only support a 150 shot? are there too little holes on the bar or something?

and what jets do i need to actually make a 150 shot? im getting a used kit that has 125 and 75 jets but i thought jets werent designated "125" etc...

The NOS tech told me that the size and number of holes in the plate are same as the plate used in the super power shot and cheater kits (same plate). The cheater kits run up to around 250 hp with the bigger selenoids. He said that the TPI intakes dont have the fuel distribution ability for that size shot. The super power shot sized selenoids in the TPI kit can't flow but around 175 hp max due to the orafice size in the selenoid.

I just ordered a NOS TPI system. What's the typical HP number to run with a 350TPI.

Also should the timing be retarded when using? What about having the Hypertech Thermomaster chip, will it cause a problem?

Regards,
G

so the actual kit is limited due to the soleniods (which could obviously be changed) but the max "shot" is actually limited by the TPI fuel distribution itself.....got it!!

anyone know about what jets i need to run that 150 shot?

You do not want to run any chip that increases ignition timing. Increased cylinder press from a power adder + too much timing= disaster. I'm not sure if you could get away running that chip and installing something like an MSD timing retard or not though. I would think you could. I'm looking at throwing some N2O on my car, but I want to set the car up to run safely on the giggle gas and lose as little power when not spraying as possible. I was thinking adjustable retard would be a good start.
