Budget nitrous

Well parts are coming in as we speak, i got all of this for under $200. Dynotune solenoid N20 and Fuel with mounting plate, Nos cheater sprayplate with 125hp jets, lines from solenoids to spray plate, Holley Red electric fuel pump and a old style Nos 10lb. Bottle. Now all i need is a fuel gauge, nitrous gauge, gaskets, main feed line, and some extra time. i hope i will have this installed by next monday. I will post times as soon as i go to the track, but for now you will have to settle for pictures.

BIG WARNING!

On that pic, the blue nitrous solenoid, there is a black safty switch that is ment for the fuel side. Do not put nitrous pressure to that switch, it will POP! Put the switch on the fuel side.

Make sure that there are the proper sized jets for fuel and nitrous in the base plate.

Have fun!

Here is a post about wiring it up. Also read (via search) about installing the system.

No problem, I myself have only installed one system. I read a bunch about it and thought out the control circuit.

With the fuel pressure switch on a blue AN adapter, I could see how easy it would be to mix up the location.

Well got my fuel pump installed and my summit fuel gauge in and plumbed. Once i find my FP the gauge will be hooked up to the fuel solenoid using a 1/8' male/male fitting.

Here is how to wire the hobs switch and relay:

The hobbs switch cannot handle load, this is how to wire with a relay.
Potter Brumfield/tyco 40 amp relay #VF4-45F11
bosh relays use the same tab numbers

Relay #86 tab, full throttle switch, hobbs switch (if used), then ground.
Relay #85 tab, 12volt+ from arming swich, (should get its power from a key on power source)
Relay #30 tab, 12 volt 40 amp fused supply (usually direct from bat or solenoid )
Relay #87 tab, to nitrous solenoids

Other wires from solenoids go direct to ground.

Got my nitrous plate installed this morning, needed half inch longer bolts, but the good news is everything clears the hood. I also took pictures of my fuel pump so if anyone want to see. Also you gott love driving around with a Fuel pressure gauge taped to your window, everyone look at you funny.
