well i was thinking last night, and heres what iv come up with, i have a fresh 2 bolt main vortec 350 short block i was planning on building up witch would have been N/A with a set of moded alum lt1 heads and 305 cam witch should have pulled 365 to 425hp at the crank, now that iv been thinking i already have a set of rebuilt 083 castings and a lt1 cam and intake just sitting both less then 3,000 miles on the lt1 stuff, so heres the deal what if i slap all this together on the fresh 350 block, and turbo it, maybe go with a single T04,im looking to get around 475hp at the crank maybe more but its a 2 bolt main so 500hp would be pushing it, and maybe go with a set of forged rods and pistons if what i want exceeds 8psi, i want some good MPG too and with these gas prices now a days it doesn't seem like to much to ask for in the quest for performance, what well i need to get this going about how much would need to be invested lets say on the cheapest build and most of it well be home fabricated, or would i be better off with the lt1 heads and 305 cam, instead of going the turbo root for power, well i guess that's all i got to say, so looks like all need some guidance or at lest help making up my mind and in terms of where to go,


i well also add, this well be done on a TPI ECM and Fueling system with MAF
