you should have a bottle gauge,
they have a zone on there where the bottle should be, to hot it goes to the danger zone, not sure what psi that is
but you can risk explosion (more so by using like a propane torch)

Too hot and your burst disc should rupture, wasting your whole bottle of nitrous, around 900-1100 psi depending on your tuning is ideal. Its best to take the bottle out of the car when its going to be parked on a hot day.

I tune my cars nos with bottel pressure around 950-1000psi. If the bottel temp gets around 1200-1300psi it wont blow the disc but your nitrous soilnoid also will not open. That can cost you a race. Also if you tune the car with 900psi bottel and you turn around and bump the bottel pressure up to 1100 psi you will run lean wich can cost as little as a set of plugs or as much as a couple of pistons.

My dad has a 77 vette with a NOS bottle in the middle of the rear compartment and even in 102 degree weather the bottle didn't rupture the disc in the blowoff valve. No he doesn't stack discs or anything but he does park it in the garage except for when he's at work. So far he's had no trouble with it whatsoever.

How quickly does a 10lb bottle get to the same temp as the cars interior? Ive been conserned with buying a nitrous system, and keeping it cool, would like to keep it around 900-1000, but thats what, 85-95*, it does get hot in these cars(like anyother) but how can you keep a bottle cool?

I don't know how quickly it would rise to interior temp. / a Bottle blanket would help alot to keep the Sun from shining right on the bottle if you mount it in an exposed hatch. I have never had mine exposed to direct sunlight in the back so I really don't know.
