Single Turbo LS1 Swap Drag Project.
So we have been sitting on this car for about 6 months now as a rolling shell at our shop. We have an Iron block LS1 laying around, an air to water intercooler, and just about every part necessary to build another drag car. So in true hot rodder fashion we started gutting.
Haven't decided on the specs for the turbo yet but we have come to decide it will be a huge single. I will try to keep updated on pictures as preogress is made.
If anyone is intererested in interior parts let me know. Had the red and black in it. Almost all is for sale. Including anything wiring or climate related.

Sorry have't been online in awile. Yes it is a 6L truck block we will be using in order to get some cubes without having to mess with sleeves. Here is a couple pics of us playing around with parts around the shop getting ready to start mocking a few things up.

it's bigger then that... scaling that picture and knowing that 20 is 65mm across it looks to be about a 72mm inducer and about a 5.35" inlet bell...

I guess you are right about the size. I get all confused with turbos because everyone tends to measure them with $20 bills, beer cans, cell phones, etc. I use a tape measure for sizing up stuff so measuring something with anything other than that tends to throw me.
A 72mm would work nice.

just keep adding boost till something pops... then rebuild and backoff a lb or two...
p.s. guessing 10psi at 10:1 compression(non-intercool)/// 15 with
Acually if this is a straight drag car. just keep throughing money at it till it is in the 7's...
