Not too much useful boost. The turbo itself can support well over 20psi when properly matched to an engine. Just one of those on an L98 will peak early, then be severe a restriction at mid and upper rpm power. It will heat the charge air excessively and overspeed, causing the turbo to fail prematurely. You need to buy and read the books listed int he stickies above before you touch another turbocharger. Asking what PSI a turbo can make proves that you are not ready for a turbo project.

You might be better off selling it. Or find another one to do a twin system. There is a guy over on Turbomustangs that has two of those on his TA and out 570Hp to the rear wheels!

You got to do some reading before you get the far though. Buy both 'Turbochargers' by Hugh MacInnes and 'Maximum Boost' by Corky Bell.

Get both of the books I mentiones.

My set-up is all home built. I used two junkyard T3 turbochargers which I found to be severely restricting my upper power band. With 6psi of boost it put down 328rwhp at 4200 rpm and 467rwtq at 3400rpm. This was on a completely stock L98 with 95,000 miles.

I have since upgraded to T3/T4 turbos and have yet to dyno it. I expect a big improvement in HP, but the TQ should be about the same, unless I increase the boost.

Do a search for gncalculator.xls on this board. It will give you a link. It is a very useful tool for playing around with what you will need for turbos.

I am curious how much of a restriction the JY turbos were vs. how much a restriction the TPI unit is. It is interesting because a stock TPI makes peak HP around 4400 - 4800 rpm. I would think that the turbo powerband should follow the N/A powerband for the most part.
Doing a guestimate calc. comes up with 400fwhp at 4200 rpm for your setup when boosted at 7psi-intake, 8psi-comp._outlet on a cool day. That equates to about 20lb/min at 1.65 PR. About at the 60% efficiency point of a 45 trim T3. What is your guess at the HP with the twin hybrids?
Did you have 45 trim (40mm comp. wheel inducer) or the 40 trim (34mm comp. wheel inducer) Volvo T3s?? They are both marked .42 A/R on the compressor but have different inducer diameter / comp. wheels.

Not worth anything unless you use two to power a v8 project......

Nothing different from a GN turbo, better money spent elsewhere...
