Suppose for a second I wanted to install a single turbo

What would be a good one to choose? A T76?
A friend of me is loaning me a book when he gets back from the army next month so I can handle that one eventually.

Next, it would seem logical to install it on the passenger side since there is more room with AC/Smog equipment removed. That being solved, how would you pull the crossover pipe into the passenger side, while still leaving room for a hefty enough exhaust downpipe to fit inthe same amount of room?

These are just a few questions. It almost seems worth it to use twin setup with a pair of smaller turbos just for exhaust plumbing reasons.

Id like to mount of pair of mitsu turbos for fun a couple years downthe road but damn a nice large single turbo would be nice too.

Check this link: http://www.y-t-g.com/turbo2.html

the good thing about mitsu turbos for me, is that a friend of mine is getting ready to enlist HRC to do some stuff for him. He has promised me his stock turbo and intercooler. Now, if I can just find another 1G intercooler and turbo, Ill be set.

I dont think custom fabbing a tube header to work will be that difficult. I have limitless resources here where I work and the best welders I know.

Ive been watching your guys posts!! hehe

Follow up, I dont know how well 2 stock mitsu turbos would feed a 406 with heads/cam/mini ram, but it sure would look sweet and would be lots of fun!!!

Alright jump on the bandwagon. I will say it again, give Bill at speedway a call. I thought of running a single system but Bill said twin is alot more streetable and easer on the motor and i don't know how you would plumb the exhaust for on turbo but I guess it depends on what you want.

Guido and other MFBA boys:

I may have the boss talked into marketing a pair of universal stainless turbo manifolds with a T3 flange. They will blow away the Banks old-school units. They will be capable of feeding 1000 hp. I will debut my pair next spring, complete with Mitsubishi TD06 turbos...or maybe a single TD08. Who knows?
