Open bottle / closed bottle???
Open bottle / closed bottle???
Is it okay to cruise around with the bottle open??? like for long period of time? Or is it not good? And when closing the bottle after a run, should I purge the system of all n20, or just leave it in the line?? Just curious, seems as though purgin it after closing it makes for a waste of n20....
Any comments welcome!

You should not ride aroung for extended periods of time with the bottle open. Check out the remote bottle valve that allows you to open the bottle from inside the car. It takes alot of hassle out of having to stop and open the bottle and close it. As for purgin,I always like to do it right before I was about to spary the engine so you get rid of all the vapors in the line and have a fresh shot of NOS.
I understand the purpose of purging...but I was curious if it was nessiasary to bleed the line after closing the bottle to get rid of all the line pressure, or can it just stay in there???

Maybe I did'nt word my reply clearly...
When I close my bottle (dont using it for the day), should I bleed the line of all nitrous, getting rid of the pressure in the line? Or just close the bottle, and leave it at that?

Please don't be an idiot like me and buy that bottle valve. All it is is a big soleniod that doesn't hold pressure indefinately. It is so not worth the money. I bought it with intentions of leaving my bottle on at all times. Yeah right, n2o just leaks by slowly.

They have a new remote bottle opener that isn't just another inline solenoid. It is a motor that opens the original bottle valve.
