Has anyone ever had any problems with the ducting blowing off from the charger to the throttle body on a Paxton for a TPI??

Yep!, you can fix it with T bolt clamps. You can get them from a diesel shop. I get mine from a local Cummins dealer.

This is going to sound funny to but if you invert one hose clamp from the other one it helps too.
I dont know why but when I had my paxton I had the same problem and when I inverted the clamps then it stopped happening.

Hey the formula,
I know this has nothing to do with the subject but i see u have Zoom clutch on your car. Is it a T-5 tranny that u got, if so how does the clutch hold up. Im going for either the zoom or mcleoud, or centerforce dual friction clutch. But the mcl. and centerfor. is too expensive i wanted to get the zoom clutch but i need you information. I see u got a paxton so im guessing the zoom is a good clutch. One more question how much holding power does your zoom clutch have over stock.

Hey, the Zoom clutch is pretty good I love it. It cost me $191 to my door from Summit.
It is supposed to have 30% more holding power over stock, but if feels like 90%!. I have around 400miles on it so far and i'm putting down a lot of power. We'll see how well it holds up. So far, I love it

T bolt clamps are the type of clamp used on the air ducting for deisel & industrial engines. Instead of the "worm gear drive" that common hose clamps use it has a T shaped bolt. You tighten a nut up on the bolt to tighten the clamp. You can get them way tighter with T bolt clamps than worm gear clamps & the T bolt clamps Don't strip out easily like worm gear clamps. There is a picture & more info at http://www.breezeclamps.com/tbltpage.html
I tried Guidos suggestion on mine years ago and it didn't work for me. I then tried double clamping with worm drives and it still didn't help. I used course sandpaper to scuff the surface of the tubes that the hose slips over. still no luck, I then sand blasted to roughen it up more and that still didn't help. I then bought silicon hose from a turbo shop and that didn't help. I then went to a deisel shop and got T bolt clamps and haven't had a problem with the tubes seperating since.
The guaranteed fix is using T bolt clamps.

I had the same problem with my duct blowning off.
I found that just using some 220 sand papper and sanding only where the duct slips on to T/P resoved my problem.
Check out PICS of the paxton install on my site.
