The Vortec S-trim is in, The serpentine setup and whatnot is also in. The car is running and I'm done rewiring almost everything. I did a lot of moving stuff around. The oil lines still need to be welded to the pan, so it'll be done and the blower will be spinning next weeek. Either way I'm psyched. The car hasn't been running since last October. I did a ton of stuff, but only worked on it about 5 hrs a week. So anyway, I'll keep you posted on the blower, once it's spinning. But for now the car atleast runs great. The blower will be working next week and I will get times at E-town on the 14th of July. I Will be running it easy, since the tranny was already on the way out before the blower. I'll post times. I'm expecting mid-low 12's first time out, and 11's before the summers out. I have to get a tranny and tune it for that though. I'm putting in drag suspension soon too. Have it all already. I know someone will be grinning the whole way down the track! What are the rules for E-town? Do you need a helmet to run? My car is basically stock so its not as if i could hit the wall at 120 MPH.

As far as the rules that's a good question. I know some tracks don't require them unless your in the 13's or 14's. But honestly I'm not sure. I would just borrow a motorcycle helmet from a freind and leave it in te back seat. Good luck

The GMHTP race is going to be that day as well as the fastest F-Body shootout. I will have my car out to e-town that day as well.

Yeah I know it is GMHTP 2 day. that's why I'm going. So I guess we will finally meet. I've been on this board for probably 3 yrs now, as have you, if not more. It should be nice to put a face behind your posts. Unfortunately, I will not be anywhere near 10.50's this year, but maybe one of these days. The guy I got it from ran 10.9's on a 355 w/ 15lbs boost. I hope to eventually run a 383 blower motor w/ 15lbs. and I guess I'd hope for 10.9's at 123mph. But for now my target is 11.7-11.9 @ 113-115mph. I guess we'll see soon. But like I said, My tranny IS SERIOUSLY screwed up, all gears are slipping, so I guess i have to take it easy and will only see like 12.5's hopefully.

The same as yours. EXCEPT, mine is in the back of the discharge tube, instead of the front, and is mounted on the drivers side of the throttle body, so the air can go right back into the blower intake ducting. It's only about 6-8" from the blowoff valve. Pretty next. I can't get pics up right now, but I'll see you at E-Town on Sat the 14th. Go to my site and look at my car, so you know what to look for. It's blk. w/ a cowl hood and gold stripe. stock GTA rims. check it out. I won't be running WOT, because of the tranny, but I'll push it a little. I am 100 miles from the track, so I don't want to break it. -Justin
