Go for a beefy manual tranny or the 4L80 IMO. You might need bigger injectors too. 30lbers are for about 350-500hp and a paxton with an intercooler (depends on how much boost you plan on) you could get 600hp I would think. Go with low compression to get the most outta the paxton but I'm sure you knew that.

what's wrong with 4l60, it wont holdup ??? I'm thinking 6-7 pound of boost, 9:1 compression and yes I'm buying the 30 pound injectors..

do you think the rear-end will support that much power ???
600 hp could look like what in 1/4 ???

A guy in my club has a completly stock 93 Vette LT1 in his 88 GTA, and with a 150 shot of nitrous he runs 11.90's, this motor is bone stock except for the Nitrous and a 4000 stall converter.

Man, if you try to lauch that car on sticky tires say bye bye to stock axles... invest in some rear suspension...12 bolt and torque arm maybe... I know this from experience, i broke an axle in half and my motor probably doesnt make nearly the horses yours should.

Not a prayer. He *might* make 375 RWHP. 30-lb injectors are fine.

nope. i've heard of people breaking 10 bolts with near stock 305's. you're going to need a 12 bolt.
