730 or 749
This might be a stupid question but what's the difference between running a 730 ecm with the 58 code and running a 749 with the 730 memcal? The reason I ask is because I want to retain my VATS. With a 2 bar map can the 730 sense boost?

the code is entirely different, the 7730 $8D code doesnt sense boost, the $58 code does, the ecm's are identical aside from a few wires.

no $58 doesnt support vats, vats isnt that good of a security device anyhow, do some searches, you'll find everything you need to know.
