305 TPI with 100hp nitrous - track results

I took my car to the track last night with 100HP nitrous, and got the following times:

Sixty foot: 1.92 secs
ET: 13.05 secs @ 105 MPH

This time was achieved on street tires, with the car in full street trim. I am running a 305 TPI with Crane 2031 Compucam, ported stock heads, stock 700R4 and converter, etc. You can see all the mods here

Im running whatever the 100HP jets are on my sniper kit. Im not near my car or Id check the #s. What I meant to ask was how much HP you are jetted for.

Gofaster, have you put your car on a dyno to see how much HP you actually picked up from a 70N/42F jetting? I was thinking of switching to that combo since i know NOS jets their kits kinda rich. I have 70N/53F, and i am pretty positive i am not getting the full 150HP advertised in the kit.

1989 IROC-Z 5.7L
NOS 5151 150HP kit
ProBuilt 700R4, PI Vigilante 2800 stall lockup
Baer Brakes 12" Sport System

Careful with gofaster's jet sizes. He's got a piggybacked fuel pump. That means there is no pressure drop when he hits the button. The kits most of you buy are jetted for stock applications where the pressure in the fuel rail drops, thus requiring a larger orifice. GoFaster has a smaller orifice because he retains high fuel pressure. Try his combo and you might burn holes in your pistons.

Careful with listening to people that don't run n20. The jets I have are still rich and I have run without my "piggybacked" pump with no difficulty. Also Just check your fp with a gauge taped to your windshield like I did and you will be fine. I also run a maximum of 900 psi bottle pressure.

Email me jmay@eng.utoledo.edu I will send you a spreadsheet that can calculate what jets you need according to what n20 pressure you pick and fuel pressure.
