yeah, so i installed my paxton
sn-89 on my 91 l98 trans am.
the problem was, i apparently got the camaro kit and not the firebird kit, so i had to slot the top hole in the bracket, i couldn't use either stiffeners cause niether were even close to fitting, and to top it all off, the battery was in the way of where my intake tube was supposed to go, so i had to remove my washer fluid resivoir, and just did the rubber elbow and the chrome elbow and but the element on the end of that. still have to route breather stuff, but i was just wondering if i even had to route the entire breather system that comes with it, or just get one of those oil caps with the element on it instead.
let me know guys... thanks

Until recently, I've always vented my forced induction cars to atmosphere using K&N push in breathers. I'm now running AN lines from each cover to an accumulator with a K&N on top.

do you think that would really be neccesary with my setup though, i mean, its only 5-8psi. but if i do, then do i need to lead the AN fittings to both valve covers, or can i just adapt it to fit into my oil feed hole.

You're reading too much into my response. Just use the push-in valve cover breathers. I ran my cars, and several other people I know have run their cars, that way for YEARS. I only mentioned the AN lines/tank because some internet expert somewhere will see a current picture of my setup and make a big deal out of me saying one thing and doing another.

alright, got ya. as of now, i put on an edelbrock breather (the gay chrome one without any element or anything), and of course it's still seeping a little bit of oil, so i guess i'll try the ones with the filter element on it. lol, thats a fun word to type, element...haha, elementelementelement.
ok im done.

Your stockers should be baffled, but it's been so long since I've had stock ones the old memory is a little foggy..... You should be good to go.

nah, they're not baffeled. so i can pick that baffeled grommet at a parts store right. i'll throw that on, then throw one of those filtered breathers on.
